Khawakee made a humble start eight years ago, purely out of love to cook and serve. Over the next few years, we expanded our menu from Puran Poli and Ukadiche Modak to several veg and non-veg meal items, biryanis and curries, etc. Many of you have also been our regular customers at previous Khawakee outlet at Kothrud.
After happily running the business for six years, we had to make a choice between Khawakee and certain other projects at hand. We decided to temporarily close down Khawakee, but it always remained at the back of our minds. Many of our customers including you kept contacting us, asking to restart Khawakee as soon as possible.
