Khawakee..... @khawakee.2010 It’s a food joint where they serve homemade Maharashtrian style specifically CKP style food items.

All there food items are homemade using their own homemade masalas. Each and every food item they have is extremely delicious. They have some unique items in their menu too.

I received a meal from them which consisted of -

Cheese corn bomb (appetizer)- very cheesy and good in size.

Paneer dita (appetizer) - One of my favorite appetizer as it was marinated with their secret masala and then deep fried. It was dam good.. A must try for all paneer lovers.

Paneer butter masala - Completely homemade feel with unique gravy. Very good quantity.

Chicken biryani - Huge quantity in one plate which would be good for 2 people. They had their own unique biryani masala which was super yummy. It had very nice flavor of mint and spices. On top fried cashews. Extremely flavorful. (Highly recommended)

They are available on Swiggy and zomato as well.

Khawakee is a home made delivery kitchen which has been serving Maharashtrian food since 2010. Their Kitchen is located in Swargate.

They serve a variety of veg and nonveg dishes and the preparation of masalas and gravies is done at their home itself.

I tried:

1) Matar Paneer: Pocketfriendly and huge quantity and a giant hug of homemade Aroma is what I would describe this dish.

2) Paneer Pulao: This is an aromatic, delicious and mildly spiced paneer pulao made with freshly ground pulao masala which really brings in a lot of flavor and aroma in the dish

So if you're looking for a perfect Homemade food, you should definitely try this place. This place is especially for people who cannot have delicious homemade food because of jobs or living in different cities.

Flavorful & Delicious. Must say you nailed the Biryani. I mostly prefer the biryani with decent and mild masala with juicy tender chicken chunks and thanks to you cuz you have fulfilled my cravings and i was more than satisfied.

Khawakee Chicken Thali Review

Got the opportunity to try the delicious chicken thali from @khawakee.2010 yesterday. Started by Sharmishtha & Mandar Shinde, Khawakee has been serving Maharashtrian (CKP Style) Meal and festival food items in Pune since 2010.

As soon as I opened the parcel, I was impressed with the quantity. The thali has one chicken dish (fry/masala/gravy), egg curry, tambda rassa, plain rice, two chapatis/bhakri.

The chicken masala was definitely the showstealer for me. 😍 Khawakee uses all in-house masalas. In fact, they sell their special CKP masala. No wonder, the taste was so distinct. Moreover, the masalas for veg and non-veg preparations are different.

Also loved the egg curry. The gravy was of perfect consistency, and again the masala stood out, without being overpowering.

Their tambda rassa was perfect. Paired it with rice and little bit of chicken masala, and I was in heaven. A lot of places serve watery or oily tambda rassa, so I was particularly impressed with this. 😋

The chapatis are huge, rice fresh, and two people can easily share this thali.

They have a takeaway/delivery kitchen near Swargate, Pune and most of the dishes are prepared on advance orders in a very homely manner and environment, with love and care.

Khawakee has been particular about the ingredients since the very beginning. Only refined oil is used in preparation of all their delicacies, with an added flavour of pure ghee to some special items like Chicken Biryani.

Overall, I was really impressed by the quality and taste of their food. Cannot wait to explore more of their dishes! 😍
